Just got this book! WOW... it's HEAVY!!! Bigger than I thought. I just skimmed it for a preliminary post, and WOW... tons of pics of ingredients and items and lots of doodles and graphics. The recipes are simple and oh man... a basic pie crust!! I'm gonna be busting that one ASAP to use with my baked pumpkin and big bag of costco pecans.It's definitely handy like, for kids, to do basic things like pie crust, pizza dough, even home made crackers!!! And very colorful! Every page is like, eye blinking colorful... how can they afford that much ink??For younger kids, to get them started, this is a MUST! Highly recommend. But I'm a basic cook myself, and know this stuff will come in handy. Lots of 'party' style things to, easy put together things for kids to do for their own parties or whatever.

I don't know many kids that would eat the stuff in this book. It's colorful and fun to look at but the recipes are way too fancy for my kids. I would return it but what's the point after paying half the price to ship it back?

This was a Christmas present for our grandson. He loved it and has been cooking recipies from it.

I gave this book to my son to try out with his family. They loved it. They had fun making different recipes. It is easy for kids to use and explains about the steps. Great for learning. (reviewers copy)
