I was able to research much of the information contained in this book but it was nice to have a compiled view. However, I wish I had this book when the Affordable Care Act was first executed. It would have saved hours of research but it is still good to know what you are reading is accurate information.

I bought because I had to for my BSN program, I have not only written that it is a terrible book in class discussions but I am writing here. I have been a nurse for 13 years and was in medical billing prior to that, this book is not for the average joe who needs information regarding the ACA. It also promotes things that I would discourage as a nurse. This Michelle Katz has obviously never worked at the bedside with real patients her background is business related. Terrible!!

I am a small business owner with an individual healthcare plan. My plan this year went up 160% (as compared to 8,12% in the two previous years). So, I am now forced to shop around with no real knowledge of what to do. What I liked about the book is it is set up with FAQ sections. It reminded me of Steve Jobs giving us things we didn't know we wanted. This gives answers to questions we wouldn't know to ask...or even know at all. It gave me the information I needed to shop around and find the best plan for me. I just did and saved myself real $$$$. Worthwhile investment and easy to understand.
